HullCraft- Minecraft and Archives

As part of my work at the Hull University Archives, I have been contributing to the Hull History Centre's archives engagement project called HullCraft since October 2014.
The purpose of HullCraft is to create awareness of the Hull History Centre's archival collection 'Francis Johnson Architect', and introduce hard to reach audiences with the concept of archives by using the popular "digital LEGO" game of Minecraft. Participants can join the HullCraft server and build architecture from the Francis Johnson archive by downloading architectural plans off the website www.hullcraft.com.
